Artist Statement

I aspire to capture how I see the world and its untold narrative to visually communicate the emotional relationship between the observer and the subject. In addition, a lifelong passion for travel allows me to experience the customs, rituals, cuisine, and people in a mindful approach to inspire a thoughtful understanding of our world.

Biography

Born in Missoula, Montana, I spent my youth and early twenties living in various cities in Southwestern Montana. My parents were entrepreneurs with numerous service-based businesses, which explains my career pathways and associated companies. Images published include editorial and marketing in newspapers, magazines, social media, corporate websites, and marketing collateral. For the past 15 years I’ve called Washington state my home and reside outside of Seattle, WA with my husband and labradoodle.

I possess a B.S. in Business – Marketing Management and Interior Design Certification. Over the years, I’ve pursued photography mentoring and workshop instruction with David Stoecklein, Tim Cooper, Tony Stromberg, Deanne Fitzmaurice, and Helene Dujardin. My future work will center on mindfulness and documentary storytelling.
